Vice President Kamala Harris is said to have interviewed three of her top Vice President picks on Sunday (August 4) in her run for the 2024 Presidential Election.
Her decision could reportedly be “announced at any time ahead” ahead of her first planned appearance with her choice, said to be taking place on Tuesday (August 6) in Philadelphia, Penn.

Reuters is reporting that she interviewed three of her top choices – Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, U.S. Senator Mark Kelly of Arizona and Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro. She also reportedly sat down with Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg over the weekend, and met with some candidates virtually as well.
Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear and Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker are also said to be two names in consideration.
The current VP is now said to be thinking over the decision on who to choose with her husband Doug Emhoff, brother-in-law Tony West, and close aides. Reuters added that the candidate will be informed on the decision by Monday night or Tuesday morning.
