Previously, it was revealed that Shannen signed a filing to waive spousal support just one day before her death. She also agreed to a “default or uncontested dissolution” of their marriage, indicating that she and Kurt had mutually finalized their divorce proceedings outside of court.
Kurt signed the documents the day after Shannen on Saturday, July 13, which was also the same day that she died.
AP reports that the judge signed off on the divorce on Monday, July 15.
In their divorce, Shannen got to keep their Malibu home, a Salvador Dali painting, several cars and all of her earnings from acting.
In June, Shannen said that Kurt was refusing to settle their divorce because he was hoping she would die first.
The couple split in January 2023 and Shannen filed for divorce in April of that year.
